A-Frame Cabin
$200 / night (weekends)
$175 / night (weekdays)
A cozy one-bedroom, one-bath A-frame cabin with a loft — ideal for families or small groups.
Sleeping arrangements:
Two twin beds in the bedroom
Three futons in the loft
Pull-out couch in the living room
Cabin features:
Fully equipped kitchen with stovetop/oven, full refrigerator, microwave
Brita water filter, rice cooker, and coffee maker
Full set of utensils, dinnerware, and cookware
Bathroom with tub and shower
Paper towels and toilet paper provided

Main Cabin
$35 / night (adults)
$15 / night (children 12 & under)
A spacious three-bedroom cabin designed for groups, retreats, and community gatherings.
Sleeping arrangements:
Seven sets of bunk beds (14 beds)
Three single beds
Space for 3–4 additional cots or futons
Cabin features:
Open living room and dining area
Camp-style kitchen
Large lanai overlooking a lawn and forest
Fully functional kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker, and electric hot water kettle
Basic cleaning supplies provided
Toilets and sinks inside the cabin
Showers located outside the cabin

Entire Property Rental
Two-night minimum stay for both cabins
Maximum of 30 people on the property
To reserve both cabins, please specify during booking
Deposits, rental charges, and registration must be completed separately for each cabin

Check-in & Check-out
Key pick-up location: Storybook Theatre of Hawaiʻi, Hanapēpē
Key pick-up available after 9:00 AM on your rental day
Cabin access begins at 4:00 PM
Check-out time: 11:00 AM
Key drop-off required by 5:00 PM on check-out day
Age, ID & Payment
Renters must be 25 years or older and stay on the property
Valid photo ID required
Full payment due at check-in
A $200 deposit is required upon reservation for all cabins (covers extra cleaning or damages)
Cancellations
Cancellation with a refund of deposit may be allowed within two weeks of reservation, subject to approval by the property manager and/or board committee
What to Bring
Guests must bring:
Bedding, pillows, blankets, towels, and bath mats
Kitchen towels and personal toiletries
Extra drinking water
Battery-operated lights
House Information and Rules
Cabins are rustic and not ADA compliant
No pets or animals
No alcohol or smoking on the property
Remove all trash and clean up before departure
Lock doors and turn off lights when leaving
Area Information & Safety:
No Wi-Fi or cell phone service on site.
Payphone available at Kōkeʻe Lodge further up the main road.
Waimea town has emergency services and supplies.
Water or electricity may be interrupted due to weather or fallen trees — guests should bring extra water and flashlights.
Basic emergency and first aid kits are provided in the cabins.
How to Book a Cabin
Complete and submit the online booking form.
Afterwards, call Storybook Theatre at (808) 335-0712 to confirm reservation.
A manager will confirm availability by phone. Reservations are accepted no less than two weeks before your intended check-in and may be made up to one year in advance.
Upon reservation confirmation, a $200 deposit must be paid to hold the dates. Payment is due at check in. Guests are required to show photo ID and credit card for the key.
