Two Stories of Hawaiian Men That Gained Mastery Over Their Trials With Leprosy

These two media presentations will be shown back to back at Storybook Theatre in Hanapepe, beginning at 11:00 am with Kaluaikoolau, a docu-drama created by Ke Kula Niihau Public Charter School, followed by the story of renowned storvteller Makia Malo. Each piece reveals the tragic nature of Hansen's disease (Leprosy), and was created as a part of Storybook Theatre's 'Sparky Would Go' series featuring inspirational stories of resilience and overwhelming challenges in our lives.
