Friday Nights At STH!

 
Friday night’s at the Storybook Theatre Hawaii we will be having  events for the whole family to enjoy! There will be art activities with aunty Caylin, Keiki Karaoke night, a surprise night and our live/ recording friday night show. Spring Break Marine Debris Art Classes!

 

Aunty Caylin Spear is calling all Children ages 6 and up that would like to participate in a marine debris art class. The focus of the class will be making puppets and a new set for an upcoming Russell Da Rooster Show. The classes will be held at the Storybook Theatre of Hawaii on March 17th, 18th and 19th 2020 from 1;30 – 3:00pm each day.For more information please contact Caylin at 808-335-0712.

Spring Break Drama Classes!

 

Aloha! The Storybook Theatre of Hawaii will be holding Drama Classes in the Storybook Upstairs Classroom. For all youth ages 7-13. Personal Development thru Drama classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday March 17th, 18th and 19th from 3pm to 5pm. Production classes on March 24th, 25th and 26th. A YouTube Video Recording of the drama group will be held on Friday arch 27th. Classes will be thought by Uncle Mark Jeffers. Tuition arranged with instructor. A $10 donation is suggested per class. Family Enrichment Night – Girls Day Potluck!

The Storybook Theatre of Hawaii is teaming up with the Hanapepe Hawaiian Congregational Church for a Family Enrichment Night – Girls Day Potluck! On March 3, 2020 staring at 4:30pm. We will have a special guest Aunty Kay Hill, who will be teaching Japanese Paper Doll making in honor of girls day. There will be a potluck dinner across the street at the Hanapepe Hawaiian Congregational Church. We ask that each family bring a main dish, a side dish and or a dessert to share. There will also be more activities at the church for all to enjoy! We hope to see you guys there.

Storybook Theatre’s Work Day!

 
 We Are Here, Because You Care!  Please Volunteer A Little Of Your Time!
Storybook Theatre is having a work a on Feb.25 at 9am. We will be cleaning up inside of the building as well as in the garden. All and any type of help you would be willing to contribute is accepted and greatly appreciated! A light lunch and refreshments will be provided. Hope to see you there!

A Monumental Celebration At Waikiki Aquarium!

 

A monumental celebration at the Waikiki Aquarium to mark 10 years of Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument as a World Heritage Site. There will be a few great guest like Leon & Malia, Patrick Chang and the Storybook Theatre. Great sing-a-longs, a colorful parade and amazing inflatables.

Storybook Theatre’s Spring Film Fest – “Eo E Emalani I Alaka`i”

 

Next in our Spring Film Festival is a film called “Eo E Emalani I Alaka`i”. We learn about the life of Queen Emalani. A several interviews help us to learn and understand what she means to the hawaiian people. We journey upland on the island of Kaua`i, to Hui o Laka’s annual Queen Emalani Festival in beautiful koke`e state park. The festival honors her through stories, hula and more

The Storybook Theatre of Haewaii is having an event on Feb. 8, 2020 in our Peace Garden from 9am till 1pm. There will be a history presentation by Chris Cook as well as a local style lunch from MCS Grill. It will be a great day of old stories and great company.
