Walk & Talk Story in Hanapepe

Available every Tuesday & Thursday 9:30am- 11:00am

The Walk and Talk Story Tour of historic Hanapepe town is a 90 minute walk through one of Kauai's most whimsical old towns. Tour participants will meet at Storybook Theatre's Magic Garden gate on the East side of Kona road.  As you stroll through town you will enjoy views of Hanapepe Valley, cross the historic swinging bridge hanging above Kauai's third largest river, Hanapepe river and pass over our hundred year old original town bridge. You will learn about the geographical and historic origins of the area and hear stories that have been passed down through generations about the historic buildings themselves; exclusively from our trained interpreters. The tour will end at our beautiful boutique garden and you will visit  Storybook Theatre's new Celestial Tea Room; where you will get to experience our rejuvenating Chinese herb tea.  You can then sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of your morning!
