The Hiccup Circus 2019

 

Cynthia Wijaya, Tristan Graham & Tristan David from The Hiccup Circus were Storybook Theatre's Special Guests for Our Annual Dad's Day Celebration 2019 in Hanapepe. Performing many circus routines for large audiences in front of Storybook Theatre on Art Night such as unicycling, juggling, clowning and special acrobatics on their 'Lollipop' an Aerial Lyra Trapeze.  The circus team also performed a Dad's & Keiki Play Shop on Saturday Morning in Sparky's Garden.

They are a part of Storybook Theatre's fleet of inflatable classrooms for Hawaii's Keiki!

Russell Da Rooster Show – “Family Way”

 

Russell and Silkie are in a "Family Way". They need a home for there new family and for friends that they want to include into their new family. They visit Vinnie Askam performed by Edward Kaahea (booga booga star 1978 fab Hawaii stars) in his Realtor Office. Vinnie helps them to find a new home in a surprisingly upscale location . . . Hanapepe!

RR July Chicken Pic Contest

 

You see them from mauka to makai and even in our shopping malls. Kaua`i is home for the wild chickens. So, we at the Storybook Theatre of Hawaii home of Russell Da Rooster will be having a monthly contest for the best wild chicken picture you can capture. Pictures will be judged for their clarity and artistic merit.

Free Children’s Puppet Workshop

 

“Storytelling with Puppets” is a workshop for youth offered as part of the annual Poetry Festival in Hananape. The children will write stories based on the characters they create.

The free art class begins Saturday April 6 at 10 a.m. Followed by a performance of the Artists’ work from 11:30 to noon.

Recommended for ages 6 to 12; teens welcome
if they enjoy being with younger kids and younger children welcome with adult supervision.

The location is the Hanapepe Storybook Theatre at 3814 Hanapepe Rd. Instructor Robert Gluckson is a professional children’s entertainer known as Zippedy the Clown.
